Rave Reviews Magazine has awarded and recognized
A Gifted Basket as one of
“Top 100 Gift Basket Companies in the U.S. for 2007.” They have repeatedly
held top rankings for design, quality and value.

How did this business start? After deciding to hang up his attorney's hat, Pam's
husband Sandy opened a Post Office, Shipping and Gift store. The gift baskets
started purely as a creative outlet for Pam while she was still working "her real
job."
It did not take long for Pam's designs to grab attention.  Her baskets
went in and became the hottest gift selling item in the store. Pam found
new outlets to purchase product that was "different" than the standard
gift baskets designed by others. Pam tested public response to her
    designs in the store.

We could not help but ask, how Pam's stress-releasing hobby transformed into
one of the hottest companies in the nation so fast?

Inquiries for A Gifted Basket grew as custom orders for realtors, the
convention center and other retail stores began flowing in. This is when
Pam took her leap of faith and retired from her 20+ year administrative
    university position.

Wow Pam! You must have been quite pent up as you are now gleaning
one award after another for originality and your custom designs!

A Gifted Basket eventually moved out of the store and found a place of it's own.
"Before we expanded, I had our living room, family room, kids' rooms (away at
college) and even the entry hall full of supplies and assembly room organization.
We now have more appropriate space for warehouse and assembly which
enables us to LIVE in our home." says Monroe.

It's all about making the
right moves and making them count! Pam hired
talented people and streamlined her systems so her basketeers could easily
step in to duplicate her work and maintain the quality. This enabled her time to
create more original designs, fulfill larger quantity sales and keep current with
trends while always offering something extra and different!

Pam Monroe grew up in a family who owned apparel stores so some of this might
have come from osmosis, yet the mix of great business sense and such high level
creativity is not run of the mill.

Monroe attitudes her success to her passion of design, enjoyment of the
business world, listening to
client feedback and need while staying current with
trends.

"Summertime Fun" - 1st place   ---------------
Budget was $40 my cost and 3 items
                                     could be donated by client
                                     (monkey, tote, Padres baseball cap).
                                     Pretend corporate client had
to be coming from out of town.  This gift
basket would be representative of our
particular city and would be given to

"Show Me Your Creativity" - 3rd place
We all started with the same 50+ food
items but we had to bring our own
unique container and all of the

anything alike.  ------------------------------
